Sauna

The tradition of cleansing in saunas originates from northern European culture. Accordingly, we have implemented natural wood and stone in our saunas and relaxation spaces, combining the healing and calming powers of nature - and healthy sleep is the most important prerequisite for regeneration. The Silence Space in the spa allows you to experience absolute peace and puts the body in a deep state of relaxation.

For perfect relaxation, our sauna world can only be visited by guests over 16 years of age. The Finn and Aroma saunas are a swimsuit-free area and can be visited in a sauna textile. In the sauna world - expect the Finnish and Aroma saunas - you can stay in a swimsuit, linen or sauna textile, the indoor plunge pool can only be used a bare body or in a bathing suit. The outdoor pools are swimsuit areas.

Sauna World is open from: 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Wellness

Sauna rituals

Sauna habits have changed considerably in recent years. In the past, sauna and sauna bathing were synonymous with silence and relaxation. Today it is a social experience, a so-called social wellness.

Groups of people come together or even go to the sauna together, friendships are formed. Guests no longer choose a spa or hotel just because of the location or the wellness, but also because of the other services. These include the quality of the sauna ritual or the sauna master. In many cases, they follow the sauna master, no matter where the master is running the ritual. Nobody needs more feedback than that when a guest travels hundreds of kilometers just to attend the ritual he presents.

A sauna master can be called skilled if the guests experience as much cold chills as possible while the sauna master varying mix of humidity and hot air. This is a good and special feeling, also known as sauna orgasm. It's a physiological process whereby our pituitary gland releases the hormone beta-endorphin, which has a euphoric and stress-reducing effect. It can be achieved repeatedly by anyone, regardless of gender or age.

A sauna master must also be able to entertain. He has to give the guest an experience that keeps them coming back, either to the spa or to the sauna. A sauna ritual is much more intense than a general sauna ritual: more intense sweating, shocking your body as the sauna master directs the hot steam onto your skin, stress relieving, fun, immune boosting, very effective against cellulite, a complex recreational experience.

During the sauna ritual, the sauna master enlarge the experience with different essential oils, adapted to the music, and with the help of his towel using different fanning techniques.

The core value of a good sauna ritual is heat therapy and excellent sauna master can elevates the experience even further!

Finnish sauna

70-90 °C

The Finn saunas are a swimsuit-free area and can be visited in a sauna textile

Sauna has a positive effect not only on the skin and body, but also on the mind and stress levels.

  • strengthens the immune system
  • stimulates and improves blood circulation in combination with cold water immersion
  • tightens the skin, has a skin renewing effect
  • promotes the detoxification process
  • soothes, relaxes
  • supports the respiratory tract - ideal for respiratory diseases and bronchitis
  • analgesic - can help relieve pain in rheumatic conditions
  • relieves tensity

Aroma sauna

40-60 °C

The Aroma saunas are a swimsuit-free area and can be visited in a sauna textile

Inhalation of essential oils extracted from plants has a beneficial effect on the circulatory system, facilitates breathing, has an antiseptic, relaxing and stress-relieving effect, and can also relieve spasm of smooth muscles.

Infrared sauna

Principle of operation: infrared saunas use infrared radiation, which, depending on the range, creates a deep sensation of heat in the body tissues. In general, 80% of the energy used heats the body and only 20% heats the air. Infrared heat radiation produces almost the same amount of sweat as conventional saunas, despite the lower air temperature due to the deep heat.

For all infrared cabins, the aim is to achieve the healing "sweating effect" at only 45-60°C (this does not refer to the cabin temperature) using infrared irradiation.

This provides deep (5 mm), effective and pleasant heating of the upper (subcutaneous) layer of the skin. This results in a much higher thermal sensation than the cabin temperature.

The infrared sauna operates at a comfortable temperature of 35-50C°, reducing the risk of vasoconstriction and eliminating the need to inhale hot air. During use, a uniform radiant heat is generated, similar to that of basking in the warmth of the sand on holiday. Thanks to its deep heating effect, it helps to break down the heavy metals deposited in the body's fats and rid the body of toxic substances.

Steam cabin

45-55 °C

Perhaps the best known benefit of the steam room is that it clears the airways, helping to treat sore throats, coughs and colds. Thanks to the high temperature and humidity, it helps to relieve illnesses such as bronchial asthma, bronchitis, upper respiratory tract infections, etc.

Our sauna masters use different aromas on ice balls to enhance the beneficial effects.

Salt cabin

The wall is lined with Himalayan crystal salt blocks, crystal salt bricks. In this room, in addition to the positive physiological effects, the salt around us provides a harmonious, calming vibration. The colors of the illuminated salt crystals have a healing and stress-relieving effect. Recommended length of stay: >30 minutes

The salt cabin contains a relaxation pool, where you can enjoy the beneficial effects of salt while floating comfortably.

Sun room
A curiosity in the range of wellness hotels, the sun room is a relaxation and light therapy room. The special technology in the room activates the body's production of vitamin D and endorphins, releasing the hormone of happiness. This improves well-being and mood.
Snow Chamber
Snowfall inside the walls? We can do that too!
The snow chamber is one of the best ways to cool down after a shower in the sauna or steam room and you can even experience snowfall.
The low temperature environment reinvigorates body and soul, while the cold tightens pores and has a powerful refreshing effect.
